2018 is another instalment in a personal design project I do to push my illustration and design skills. This year I wanted to master the isometric grid. I produced this piece by studying Sydney harbour using google maps and images, then drawing stroked shapes into illustrator.

This piece was made as a desktop image to hail in the new year. I wanted to create an artwork that played with the idea of space and scale. For this, I chose the vast expanse of space as the subject matter with a window into the inky blackness of underwater.
